Those same eight corner points can also be connected to create six diagonals that penetrate and cross the sound cube to provide six quadraphonic audio fields, as illustrated in the image above. The six sides and the six diagonals of the sound cube combine to provide twelve quadraphonic audio fields that both surround as well as penetrate and cross the sound cube, as illustrated in the image above.
